Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
The Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care class will prepare participants to be successful working with infants and toddlers in a Child Care setting. This will be done by thoroughly exploring the topics of: Professionalism; Growth and Development from birth to 2 yrs; Licensing Regulations specific for this age group; Environments and Routines; Planning Age Appropriate Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers; Health & Safety (including SIDS and SBS); Child Guidance; and Professional Communication. This class is required for all individuals who work with children 0-2 years old in a Licensed Child Care Program, Group and/or Family. On-line registration is not available at this time.
