School Age Assistant Class
The School Age Assistant class will prepare participants to be successful in their work with School-Age Children. This will be done by exploring the topics of: School-Age Growth and Development; Behavior Management; Defining a Quality School-Age Environment; Effective Programming; and the School-Age Professional. DHFS 46 Regulations are referred to throughout the class. This class meets the additional 10 hours of training needed to work with children ages 5-12 in child care programs.
