4C facilitates monthly workshops on Recordkeeping for Family Providers in Milwaukee County. Workshops include:
1. Where Is It? I Know I Had It! Oh No, Now I’m Going to Be Written Up! Organizing Your
Employee/Children’s Records Date: October 5, 2009 Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm Cost: $15.00 This workshop will teach you how to organize your employee records that you need to keep for your business to be successful and ready for your regulator. You will also learn about what you are required to have in all employees records, what your employees are responsible for and what you are required to have in a child’s file (This work shop will be a Make & Take)
2. Can You Hear Me Now? Communicating, Your Policies to Parents. Date: August 15, 2009 Time: 9:00 – 11:00 am Cost: $15.00 November 14, 2009 Time: 9:00 - 11:00 am Cost: $15.00 Have you ever felt that you and your childcare parents were not on the same page when it comes to understanding of your childcare program policies? Than this workshop is for you! We will cover what information you should include in your policies that meet best business practices but are also family friendly. There will also be a review of what is required to be in your policies by the DWD & DHFS law.
3. From Achoo’s to Zoo Trips – The A - Z’s of Your Health and Safety Policies
Date: September 16, 2009 Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm Cost: $15.00 December 10, 2009 Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm Cost: $15.00
Your health and safety polices need to protect but your staff and the children in your care from illnesses, safety hazards and liability. Come and learn about how easy it is to maintain a safe and healthy environment in your program. We will cover all health and safety areas from A-Z in an interactive way.
