Child Care Resource & Referral
4C provides child care resource and referral services in Milwaukee , Ozaukee, Washington , Waukesha, Racine & Kenosha counties. The goal of the 4C Child Care Resource & Referral department is to assist families in making wise and informed decisions about child care. To do so, 4C provides parents with customized searches for regulated child care programs, based on the individual needs of each family. The database consists of over 3600 regulated child care programs to include:
- Group Child Care Centers
- Licensed Family Child Care
- Certified Family Child Care
4C understands the child care market. We know where regulated child care providers are and who they serve. 4C tracks extensive data to understand the needs of families in finding appropriate child care. The demands for sick child care, inclusive child care, special transportation and overnight care requests may vary.
In addition, resources are available to families and child care programs on various aspects of child care including:
- Statistical Child Care Needs Assessments
- Child Care Rates
- A wide variety of resources directly related to child care for the caregiver, the parents, and the community
