(Training on this topic is required to be renewed periodically while working with young children in Wisconsin. Please contact your regulatory agency for specific timeframes.) This workshop will review current laws regarding child abuse and neglect and strategies that can be used to identify children who have been abused and/or neglected. A procedure for reporting abuse will also be identified. Information about factors that can lessen the incidents of abuse will also be shared.
